Our Hervey Bay visit
| Welcome to the Pelican Waters Bowls Club. Our club is located in the beautiful and tranquil Pelican Waters and Golden Beach area of the Sunshine Coast. We are a local community bowls club dedicated to providing quality lawn bowls and social facilities for our members and guests. Some have said we are the friendliest lawn bowls club in Australia ! We have a Bistro serving delicious meals and a bar with the coldest beer, all at “genuine 1972 prices” *. Come and try your luck on the Pokies or on the Keno. Every Friday night is Member Draw and Raffle night. (Social membership is only $5). Being non-profit, we are very appreciative of all our sponsors, and we like to give back to the community, providing great facilities for community groups. We have two quality synthetic greens allowing us to play bowls every day of the week and we welcome visitors. If you are interested in becoming a member, learning the game of bowls, having a social day of barefoot bowls, or just enjoying our friendly and welcoming facilities, why not give us a call or drop in. *That’s right, we love the movie Crackerjack like the rest of Australia. |
Club Keno
Club Keno terminals are located in the Main Bar with Monitors conveniently located throughout the Club. Club Keno games include:
| Keno – The Game: | Just match the numbers and you could win! In each Keno game, 20 numbers are drawn from a total of 80. Match your numbers for a chance to win! It’s that simple! |
| Heads or Tails: | Want to double your money? Here’s your chance! Pick Heads, Tails or Evens to win and you could double your cash |

Non members who may like to try a game of Lawn Bowls while visiting the Sunshine Coast are most welcome. . We have the greens, the bowls and a friendly welcome – come and join us.
| Monday | Open 3 Bowl Nominated Pairs – from 3 pm to 5 pm – Mufti dress (Club opens at 2.00 pm) |
| Tuesday | Men’s Nominated Triples – 1.00 pm – Bowls Attire |
| Wednesday | Ladies’ Club Selected – 1.00 pm – Bowls Attire |
| Thursday | Open Nominated Pairs – 8.45 am & 1.00 pm – Bowls Attire. |
| Friday | Open 3 Bowl Nominated Pairs – 16 ends – 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm – Mufti |
| Saturday | Open Nominated “Jackpot” Pairs – 1.00 pm – Mufti |
| Sunday | “Crack a Jack” – 8.45 am every second Sunday numbers permitting – Mufti |
Games commence at 8.45 am or 1.00 p.m (12.30 pm During winter months). Names accepted on entry Sheets or Phone 5492 1032. Dress is bowls attire or mufti unless otherwise stated. Please check in at the Games Office at least 15 minutes before the game time.
